Strange ice formations off Lake Ontario

Strange ice formations developed on the shores of Lake Ontario this morning as cold temperatures flooded the City of Toronto in Ontario.

According to George Kourounis:

This icicle was touching the lake’s surface and the waves kept causing it to dip into the water, creating this teardrop shape.
